These courses are offered by companies that needed to be able to setup courses themselves with individual dates on different locations.
How to organise the courses and display the dates turned out to be the main task of this development since courses could be in multiple categories and what is displayed in lists is actually course dates with one line per date.
Numerous business rules about when to display a course and connecting it to periods - the course arrangers pay for a period of time in which their courses are visible - and display courses that have no arranged dates in the future, made this endavour even more challenging.
However, the result is good, the site is used and the highlighting of upcoming courses adds more value to the course arrangers than before.
All in all, it was a very rewarding experience with many lessons learned.
