www.computerworld.dk is a Danish IT information and news website. Its goal is to give valuable information to IT decision makers throughout Denmark. IDG Denmark also publishes a weekly newspaper with IT news, articles and background material as well as specific magazines for smaller target groups.

One of the problems observed through the past years was that although a newspaper has to have sections and a clear line running through it to keep the reader's attention, this is not necessarily so on the Internet. On the Internet, articles are easy to access and easy to leave and there can be several ways to get to an article.

The "section" from the newspaper did not need to carry over to the web.

Enter... Keywords

One of the more ground-breaking additions to standard XOOPS article management modules is that articles are not placed in any category or section. Articles are simply given a (number of) keyword(s) and sections are ALSO given keywords. Whenever an article has the same keywords as a section, this article is considered to be in that section.

This means that e.g. an article about ERP systems in the municipalities could have both an "ERP" keyword and a "Municipality" keyword, placing it both in the "Business Systems" section and the "Public IT" section.

When you read an article with a given keyword, you can also see a block that lists the most recent articles that are also related to that keyword.
